Introducing Suitsupply Fall/Winter 2012

To highlight the opening of Suitsupply’s third store in the U.S. and the upcoming expansion planned across America, the brand’s Fall/Winter 2012 campaign was inspired by The Roaring Twenties. Lead designer Murray Coetzee names The Great Gatsby as a major source of inspiration for the collection, which features shades of steel and rust with a focus on three-piece suits and two new double-breasted models. House photographer, Carli Hermès, shot images harkening back to the Mohawk Iron workers who built the iconic landmarks found across the New York City skyline.

The “building” energy of this period is visualized through a modern adaptation of the famed Lunch on a Crossbeam. The images depict Suitsupply’s dapperly dressed men towering above the metropolitan just like those original workers. The Washington D.C. store is set to launch August 30th, following the opening of the SoHo loft in 2011 and Chicago penthouse earlier this summer.
